The food court is conveniently located on campus, making it easy for students to access and save travel time.

La Trobe has a spacious food court, with many shops and eateries, giving students countless options. You can enjoy traditional Australian dishes such as burgers, pizza, and chips or explore the flavors of different cultures such as sushi, pho noodles, and tacos.

All stores and eateries at La Trobe are thoroughly inspected for quality to ensure food hygiene and safety and fresh ingredients. Students can safely enjoy delicious and nutritious meals.

Bike/E-scooter for a #GreenLaTrobe! Why not? 🌿

Isn't it wild how environmental issues are on everyone's mind these days? If you're looking to chip in for a greener La Trobe and your hood, have you thought about cruising around on a bike or an E-scooter?

Lately, I've been all about the E-scooter life, and let me tell you, it's been a blast. Not only does it shave off a ton of travel time—say goodbye to that 30-minute stroll, hello to a breezy 10-minute scoot—it also feels awesome knowing I'm making a green choice.

And hey, no more struggling with parallel parking or shelling out for fuel. It's like a weight off my shoulders!

Best part? La Trobe's got these handy bike and scooter spots everywhere, so parking's a piece of cake. Why not give it a spin and be part of the chill, eco-friendly vibe?

And to demonstrate these are some photos and a video I took along the way <3 

 

Con: The only downside is it can get quite chilly during the winter and on windy days, so jacket up and you will be fine. On the other hand, we get to enjoy the weather better and under the sun (in those rare sunny days in Melbourne winter), quite a good way to get your Vitamin D?

There are 3 levels for your purpose 

Level 1 is Talk: suitable for your teamwork or when you have a online class, you can study here.

Level 2 is quiet: you can still make small noises or small conversation

 

Level 3 is silent: everyone is completely quiet and there is no sound. You can focus 100% on your work like at home

You also can find a lot of support when you come here:

Provides access to a wide range of databases, journals, and ebooks.

Offers research support services, including librarians who can help you with your research questions, finding information, and using library resources.

Conducts workshops and training sessions on various research skills and library resources.

Has several physical locations across various La Trobe University campuses, with the Borchardt Library at the Bundoora campus being the largest.

Do you know that you can study overseas, however length: semester or short program and while earning La Trobe credits at the same time? Yes you can. In March (see the pictures and videos), LTU was hosting an exchange fair at the Melbourne Campus (Bundoora) where representatives from partner universities worldwide were there and provided you with all the information. 

I know it seems thrilling. A lot of you are already coming from another country to Australia to study, and now you're flying to another country to study as well? Will there be a lot of paperwork and preparations again? Well, nowadays the paperwork are mostly done online. La Trobe also provides support with funding and insurance, not to mention $1000 exchange scholarships and other scholarships too if you're eligible.

La Trobe recognized the significance of this and built an INDOOR SPORTS CENTER that offers a variety of services, facilities, and membership choices to meet all of your exercise and health requirements. This promotes active participation in sports that students, faculty, and the general public enjoy, while also promoting physical activity and better health.

A heated swimming pool is a great place to train, relax and enjoy.

The "Core Cave" is a dedicated Pilates Reformer studio that employs dynamic exercises to emphasize alignment, posture, strength, and flexibility.

The "Zen Den" is a modern, beautiful, purpose-built mind and body studio that is open to everyone and is a welcoming environment.
